Logitec’s Portable USB-Powered DVD DriveBy LuckyMich
This is a new portable DVD drive from Logitec, the LDV-P8U2L Series from Logitec Japan. This USB-DVD player will be net-book ready and will work for Windows XP, Vista and has been confirmed to work on the new Windows 7 RC1 without any drivers: plug and play. Here are some specs:
- Portable type DVD-ROM – Slim and compact
- Can Boot from Drive
- Requires no external AC power adapter
- Works on Mac OS X as well
- Capable of using USB 2.0 High Speed with Mac an Windows
- Suppports DVD-RAM (Single + Dual Sided)
- Supports DVD-Dual Layer +/-R
- Supports booting from server
